Founded in 1978 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Delta Mold, LLC was established to support the rising demand for plastic parts in the Southeastern U.S. Charlotte’s strong manufacturing environment, transportation network and logistics infrastructure made it the ideal location to serve OEMs with dependable, U.S.-based plastics solutions.
Initially, Delta Mold supplied precision tooling for business-machine components, including early personal computers, keyboards and printers. As those products shifted overseas, the company expanded into large, complex plastic parts for industries such as consumer electronics, lawn and garden, automotive, trucking and recreational vehicles.
This adaptability and commitment to expanding plastics expertise positioned Delta Mold as the largest mold builder in the Southeast. Over the decades, the company reinforced its commitment to U.S. manufacturing and grew into a full-service, vertically integrated plastics partner, offering mold construction, production molding, engineering changes and ongoing mold service and repair.
